93 Points Cellar Selection by Wine Enthusiast
Allpa, named after the Quechua word for "earth" is a blend that pays tribute to the unique terroir of Paso Robles. The aromas are complex and layered, and open with black cherry, dark plum, graphite and sagebrush, all held up with a cradle of oak. The palate has a big entrance showing notes of raw cacao, brambly berries and green peppercorn, which lead to a long finish with well-integrated tannins.
